Baby Blue, made primarily from the estate’s young vines, is
meant to be softer and more immediately accessible than the deeply
structured Blue Rock Cabernet. Winemakers Kenny Kahn and Nick
Goldschmidt realized the need for an affordable, everyday cabernet
that had real personality and soul. The excellent 2010 vintage gave
us a lot of great wine to work with. The 100% Estate 2010 Baby Blue
is 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25 % Merlot, 13 % Cabernet Franc, and
10% Syrah. The wine spent 16 months in French Oak (once used)
and has been bottled unfined. As a result, Baby Blue is
delicious on release and is intended for early consumption or

We have been drinking the 2009 Cabernet with great enjoyment. This wine gives us as much pleasure at half the cost. Still so much going on with every sip of this wine that you will be glad you ordered it. A very special wine indeed!

I first had this wine at the Vine Room in Houston, Texas and loved it. Very smooth, medium body that goes down easy and compliments almost any meal. The problem was the Vine Room was always running out! I purchased 8 bottles online from Blue Rock and they arrived in perfect condition. This weekend, I took a bottle to a BYOB restaurant in Memorial where my husband and I were meeting 4 friends and aside from them loving the wine, they really liked the sleek looking bottle! All good! I definitely recommend you give it a try.
