Blue Rock’s signature Baby Blue Blanc is comprised of four distinct wines hailing from three different sub-regions of the cool Sonoma Coast AVA. Fifty-six percent Sauvignon Blanc from the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA forms the backbone of the wine, which is complemented by a small percentage of Sauvignon Blanc from Dry Creek Valley. Twenty-four percent Semillon adds texture to the blend while 20 percent Viognier from the Russian River Valley rounds it out with seductive tropical fruit and exotic floral notes.

Tasting notes: the familiarity of classic Sonoma Coast Sauvignon Blanc but with a delicate and pleasing exotic white peach that comes from the Viogner.

Blue Rock 2015 Baby Blue Blanc Sonoma Coast

The Baby Blue Blanc, a new release, is a fragrant Bordeaux blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon with a touch of Viognier. It reveals appealing flavors of apple, stone fruit and herbs with good ripeness and acidity. It has a light creamy mouth feel, purity of flavor and a long finish. Very nice, but more acidity might make it even better.

I like this wine. I don't drink white very often but when I do..... I just like a good clean taste with very little acidity and no butter. This is a very nice early evening start! Great job AGAIN BLUE ROCK!!
